Ms. Parker hails from Durham, North Carolina, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a K-6 licensure from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She also holds a Master of Education in Reading Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As a seasoned educator and administrator Ms. Parker has demonstrated her ability to help students and teachers grow significantly over a semester while cultivating a positive culture of discovery and professional development. Ms. Parker is dedicated to fostering an educational environment where all students can thrive and become honorable citizens within their community. In her current administrative role, she focuses on ensuring that students receive high-quality instruction while building strong relationships with the community to promote student success. As Principal of Baxter Junior High, Ms. Parker looks forward to partnering with the Baxter community to ensure every scholar receives the best, most equitable educational experience possible.
