Title IX Notice and training

To reduce unlawful discrimination and harassment and ensure a respectful school environment, the administration is responsible for providing notice of these procedures to all district schools and departments. The policy and complaint procedures must be prominently posted on the district’s website, referenced in student and employee handbooks and otherwise be made available to all students, staff, and members of the public through electronic or hard-copy distribution.

Our school is dedicated to the principles of equal opportunity and prevention of harassment in all of its practices. The educational programs, activities, and employment opportunities offered by our school are offered without regard to disability, race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, language, religion, ancestry, need for special education services, or any other protected class. This statement of non-discrimination is in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.

In compliance with the requirements of Title IX, 34 C.F.R. § 106.45 (b)(10), The TFS has provided required training relating to Title IX to various personnel. Training materials are available to the public upon request.
